Founded and led by Roger Chen, Upfork draws from over two decades of hands-on restaurant leadership—from fast casual to fine dining. Roger’s culinary journey began in Taiwan and took root on Canada’s west coast, where he rose from a kitchen trainee to executive chef and multi-unit operator. With deep experience in both kitchen execution and front-of-house systems, he has built and led high-performing teams across a wide spectrum of food concepts.
Today, Upfork operates as a multi-disciplinary hospitality company focused on restaurant management and brand incubation. We specialize in fast-execution food concepts, franchise development, and multi-brand portfolio operations. Backed by a trusted national supply network across Canada and the U.S., our team combines operational precision with strategic creativity to support partners at every stage of growth.
